This site will help you identify any unknown file on your computer. Just type in the name of the file you’re curious about and it will attempt to identify it. Keep in mind that this site is still in beta(testing). They dont cover every file but they do have most of the requested files.

This comes in handy for identifying malicious files that could be running on your system.
